Coincidence?

I was between the age of 8 or 10. My family and I were sitting down to dinner and my mother turns the TV to watch Oprah. (The show was live - not a rerun). At the time Oprah was interviewing (either a psychic or something along the lines of telepathy - I'm not completely sure) but the gentleman on her show said that he had a briefcase next to him. Inside the briefcase was a piece of paper with a shape on it.

He said he wanted the studio audience and the viewers at home to look into the camera and he will "send a message" with his mind letting people know what the shape is (without speaking it).

My mom and dad of course were skeptical, so I stared at the man and for some reason, 'a Star' came to mind (not sure why).

My mom (for a laugh) asked my brother and I what we thought the shape was. My brother shrugged his shoulders and I said very "matter of fact" that it is a star.

After the commercial break, the gentleman opens the briefcase and what do you know... a star!! I was soooo excited but my mom and dad had this "look" on their face (it wasn't good) and my mom said, "Well, that's enough of that." and changed the channel.
