Death by Freeway Crash

by Monique Lepe
(Phx, AZ)

For as long as I can remember, I've had this dream return every once a month....
There is always someone in the car with me and the people are random. We are driving down the freeway, but the freeway is always so high that you can't see the ground anymore. Freeways in the air! So we are driving, and somehow we either crash into some post or another car. We end up falling off the freeway, and I'm not aware that it's just a dream, so I face death like once a month. I feel a sense of fear, but only lasts for like 2 seconds, then I accept it and say to the person in the car with me that I love them (they always seem to be a significant person in my life) and I will see them on the other side. I prepare myself.....and as soon as we hit the ground, I wake up.

What is the meaning of this?? I've been dreaming of it for so long, it MUST mean something! Help?

Hi Monique,

I don't know exactly what this means. But I am thinking that since this is a recurring dream, it might have something to do with the kind of relationships and friendships you have.

When you start a new friendship or relationship, does it tend to take off really quickly and everything seems wonderful and fantastic, and then just as quickly as it started, it seems to fall apart? And before you know it you are saying goodbye?

Often, dreams are triggered by things that occur in the couple of days leading up to the dream. So if you can think of any major events or thoughts you've had around the time of the dream, that might help to work things out.
