Haunting

A friend was baby sitting my children as I was at work. When I returned home everyone was waiting for me so I potted around as usual. While we were all watching TV some strange occurrences were happening.

First my friend saw something move on the stairs and was very scared. So I went towards the door and said "if there's anyone there could you please do something to the fireplace".

After that I lay down in front of the fire (the fire at this point was not on due to it being summer). All of a sudden the fire started to shake uncontrollably, making a screeching sound like a bird then it stopped. We could then smell cigarettes burning but no one was smoking.

Then a mist formed in front of us and a smell like flowers or perfume.

Then it all disappeared.
