Indigo Adult

I am 46 years old so my story is very long. Long & difficult. Something has been pushing me to research my lifelong feeling of being really different & really special.

Today I found the term indigo child after looking at my photographed aura and remembering the way I was treated by the woman who took it. She obviously saw something special in it and suggested a couple of reads to me. Sorry to say that I was freaked out and didn't follow her advice.

I have a pink, blue & indigo aura. I'm still chewing on this whole concept but, if this is so...I feel like I have wasted a lot of time and energy just trying to be "here". I don't have a clue as to what I am supposed to do with this information.

I hope that someone is willing to communicate with me and help me figure out what my purpose was supposed to be.

Confused Adult 37 yr old please help me

I just learned a few hours ago what an Indigo Child is and I fit into everything I read. I have always been different in every single way, well with every single thing I read. What do I do now? do I do something with this? I talk to and reaceive messages from Angels and Guides. I am a very spiritual and compassionate person. Does this have anything to do with it? but they are all not clear (the messages I mean. well some are word for word. I would like to help others in some way is possible but where to start. what to do? who am I? what is my purpose? Im lose and sitting here at 2:30 am just letting my mind wonder. can anyone help me or give direction.

Honest to a fault (Teena)

Hi Teena,

Being honest to a fault must be another facet of being an Indigo.

Most people are not willing or are not ready to accept even the smallest of truths.

I have noticed that when I am feeling something...and I verbalize that feeling....most people become afraid or totally shut down.
Even if it is something very simple.

Later, they may come to me and ask...how did I know that or how did you know about that???

It's hard..because our hunches/intutions just come so naturally, that ususally I don't even give it a second thought.

I am starting to learn when not to say anything.
On the other side of the coin, when it is ok to say what I am feeling.

What do you want to do?

You talk about your desire for guidance, as if you're lost. May I ask what you do right now? I'm not necessarily asking for your job, though that would be helpful information as well, but rather I'm asking what you do with your life. Instead of wondering about what you "should do," worry about right now. What are you doing right now?

Are you doing what you want to do? Or do you want to do something else?

Indigos are meant--like all people--to make the world a better place. Do you see something you'd like to change? Someone you'd like to help?

Ultimately, life is about helping people as you can, smiling to share joy, and enjoying each moment with true gratitude and love towards who ever is around you.

Please, feel free to answer my questions. I'd love to dialogue. :) I don't know many Indigos.

I as a child lived with a ghost I felt her more than seeing her. But I did see her clearly once. I was so afraid I always slept on the floor in my parents room. I am honest to a fault and now I consider myself a healer.

Hi Patty,
I feel the same way.
For years, I knew that I was/am very different.
Well, maybe not so different...just way more open and sensitive to my surroundings than most care to admit or want to be. Many are finally recognizing and discussing this subject and themselves. (just look what is on TV!!!) all the paranormal shows, etc.

Even though, this is true, there will always be people who are afraid of this and themselves...so always expect...some form of resistance or ridicule.

All over our country and the world, there are so many groups forming. Maybe, you can find some in your area. Unity Churches, Psychic groups, etc. Maybe you could "google" to find out in your area.

You are definitely not alone!!! When I was young and still feel the same , I always felt that if people were closer to the earth and to all the living things on our earth....we would be much happier, healthier, wiser and in touch with everything....including ourselves. Maybe we are the people to make others see? Much light, Rowan
