Lingering Energy at Cemeteries

I've always felt a strange lingering energy at cemeteries and other places. I thought this was normal but today I went with my wife to visit her brother's grave. I felt this presence stronger than usual. My eyes kept bouncing from headstone to headstone I couldn't take my eyes off them and then as we were leaving one in particular really stuck out.

I stopped the car as I felt this huge rush of energy that felt almost as if it were pulling me and then I saw in my mind an image of a young woman with dark hair and felt as if I had known her. This experience left me startled as I have never had anything like this happen before.

I have seen ghosts before but nothing like this. As far as I know I have no psychic abilities so I’m very confused.

Can anyone explain what this was?
