Older Virgo Woman with Younger Taurus Male

I am a Virgo woman who too soon got involved with a Taurus male and we hit it off perfectly at first but as time went by, everything he presented about himself began to change which made me uneasy and I began to question our whole relationship. I admit I don't like change and when to much change came into play too soon after the romance all my hopes for making it with this male died which resulted in my being verbally harsh toward his toward his feelings and careless toward his wants. All I can say is, it was good while it lasted but I would like to understand why it dint work.
