Ouija Board Answers

This Christmas my aunt's kids got a Ouija board. Knowing I have always had an odd fascination ghosts and the paranormal my uncle suggested I take the kids down and play with it. So we went downstairs and set up in the dark with just a candle and after 20 minutes or so managed to contact a spirit. The entity insisted it was afraid of me and would not communicate unless I removed my hands from the board. I did so and eventually it answered some playful questions from the kids until a crash from upstairs halted our game. It turned out at that very moment something had spooked my little nephew as he was playing his Xbox and he bolted, bringing the whole thing down onto the solid wood floor, creating the crashing noise that interrupted our session.

The next day we tried again and this time we encountered a ghost that was not afraid of me (the first question we asked after our last experience). The entity went on to spell out his name for us (Abraham Lincoln oddly enough) and answered some more silly questions for the kids. Feeling bold I decided to ask some real questions that the kids wouldn’t understand. First I asked if I had psychic powers which he confirmed I had, and then he claimed I would learn to use them.

Now for the interesting question, I asked him if I would need these powers for some sort of battle, he said yes and then went on to confirm that the battle was on the date I was holding in my mind (sometime around Dec 21, 2012, I'm also a disaster theory buff so I couldn't help but ask as it seemed too good a chance.) To my surprise he confirmed that as well. He also went on to tell us a few more things like me becoming a famous writer, my little niece not being able to become an actress but becoming a singer instead, my little nephew’s future as a game developer and then came something else a little more interesting.

The last of the questions I convinced old Abe to answer were in regards to the dead and myself. I asked if any spirits followed me, he said yes. Feeling a little afraid I asked if it was people I knew, he once again replied with his faithful yes which gave me a little bit of peace. Sadly I didn’t ask if anything bad was following me but I did ask if he had ever seen angels which the Ouija board once again moved to the ever popular "Yes" response, then I asked if my grandpa Darrel was one of the ghosts following me. After agreeing to ask my dear departed grandfather to pass on for me we ended the session and went upstairs to watch a movie and eventually get off to bed.


The next morning I found out my little nephew had gone downstairs and played with the Ouija board with his friend and managed to contact Satan. Now if I believe this contact was true is something I question to this day considering the boy had watched a video about the same thing earlier in the morning. I caught him trying to move the answer piece the night before during our conversation with Lincoln. The spirit actually moved the answer piece back after my nephew had tried to force an answer, I could tell by the tips of his fingers turning white as if he was applying pressure. Still, fearing the worst, I decided that I wouldn't let them use the Ouija board after that and preformed another blessing of the house, something else Abe had insisted worked when I had done it after our first usage.

If anyone has had a similar experience like being told they are psychic or anything of that nature by a Ouija board or ghost I would be most interested to hear about it.
