Psychic Dreams

by Inga
(Decatur, IL, USA)

I don’t think I have the abilities of a "psychic" in the common sense. But I can tell you guys numerous stories of my dreams coming true. Usually when I receive these dreams I don’t know they were anything out of the ordinary until the day my dreams become reality. Oddly it seems as if the dream and the day they happen are years apart. For example: I have a dream, wake up, remember it, think it was a weird dream and tell someone about it. 2-6 yrs later that exact moment I dreamed of happens in detail, just as I dreamed. I am not talking about similar moments. Exact words, cloths, background noise...EVERYTHING to the dot JUST as I dreamed. Usually it’s a moment, an act, a sentence, or some scenery. But I can give you guys two examples for which I have an actual witness for.

To start off with, I should probably mention that I am German, born and raised in Germany.

I was 17 years old, when I had the first dream of this sort. I dreamed that I was laying in bed with a man. I was laying on my belly and he was laying with his head on my butt as if it was a cushion. I saw a candle light in front of the bed and the man laying with me said "I AM THE MAN!" (in English)

When I woke up I felt funny about this dream, didn’t understood why I dreamed of someone else other of who I was with at the time and thought it was even stranger that he spoke English, since at the time...I hardly spoke any!

Back then I kept a diary, in which I wrote every single day. I wrote down my odd dream and went on with my life.

Completely forgotten about my dream, about 2 years later, I met an American soldier that I fell in love with. We got together and the first time we ever got intimate, he afterwards layed on my butt and said those exact words....

I JUMPED UP!! Yelled "NO WAY!! NO WAY!! I dreamed this!!!...the candle! You...YOU!!! and and..."

He looked at me funny and said something like "oookay?"

I quickly ran to my dresser and dug through all of my old diaries and pulled it out. I found the passage and dream, and showed it to him "LOOK!!! OMG! LOOK!" he looked, couldn’t read a thing because it was all written in German....until I pointed out that one single sentence written in English "I AM THE MAN!"

His eyes got very big and he told me that I am freaking him out. Even called me a witch!

The next dream I had was even more intense. I was still with that soldier and dreamed of him and I going on a vacation to his best friend’s house that he always told me about. I woke up that morning and told him about it. None of us thought anything about it, since we WERE actually in fact planning on a vacation and also on visiting his friend. About 1 yr later we went to Idaho and met a bunch of his friends he wanted me to meet. We drove to his formerly best friend’s house and as soon as I stepped in front of that house. I froze...

EVERYTHING came back to me...."stop Jay...stop...I remember this!...THIS IS THAT DREAM I HAD...OMG! I remember this house!...OH Jay...no wait...don’t knock yet! I remember ALL of this....I can tell you what is GOING TO HAPPEN!" he knocked on the door ..looking at me...shaking his head...and said "you are freaking me out again Inga" I knew time was running out and I had to tell him what will happen...so I started rambling! "Your friends DAD will open the door, and his dad’s girlfriend is there and there is a dog a ...little dog, HE PEED!! she’s cleaning it up and and..." The door opened....his friends dad standing there shaking my boyfriends hand, I was just amazed, a little freaked out and PUMPED with adrenalin. As he asked us in he told us to wait a second, behind him we could see a lady holding a baby boxer puppy in one hand and a roll of paper towels in the other, he wanted us to wait because his new dog had a "accident"

At this time my ex looked at me whispering to me “you are giving me seriously shivers Inga"

There are many many more....but these I shared with someone else and wanted to tell you about.

Unlike 'normal' dreams which are hazy, confused and often forgotten the second you wake up, lucid dreams are special. In a lucid dream you are 'awake within the dream'. You know you're dreaming, yet the world around you seems as 'real' as the one you're in now. So, whether you want to fly a fighter aircraft, sleep with Cameron Diaz or play guitar onstage with your favorite band, you can do it in a lucid dream. It will seem as real as anything you have ever done ... and you'll remember it in the morning too! Fortunately, the simple techniques you need to master to have a lucid dream whenever you want one are no longer the secrets of a 'chosen few'. Question!
by: The Author - Inga-

It seems quite clear that I am not alone! Many of you have these dreams too. Yet we know for a fact that we shouldn't mention these to others, unless you want to be looked at as NUTS, right?

I have a burning question to all of you!
How have your dreams affected your religious beliefs?
Or if you aren't religious, how have these dreams affected your beliefs in science?

I'd really love to know! Because dreaming of the future is scientifically not explainable and I am pretty sure some religions would even call it blasphemy, which craft, or crazy stuff!

my mom's psychic told her that my dreams are 100% true. might i add that my mom didn't say anything about me to this woman. i've been telling my mom all my crazy dream for years now. i think it's safe to say that she believes me now.

- i had a dream where my uncle was closing down his store. i woke up confused because his business was doing well. a couple of months later, i heard that he had to close his store because of a gambling problem.

- i told my friend that should was going to be pregnant soon. it will be a girl. and she'll be light-skinned like her and not like her very dark-skinned fiance. months later, guess what?

- my cousin's family moved into a new apartment. i wasn't able to visit yet but in my dream i was visiting my cousin's new apartment. it was on a busy street. there were cars zooming past. her apartment was on the 2nd floor. i remember going up 2 flights of stairs. white banisters and white stairs. there were shoes everywhere on the landing because there wasn't a place to put them. i remember wondering how they got their refrigerator through that narrow front door. i peeked in and the place was very spacious. wooden floors and a lot of light.
the next morning i told my mom. my mom froze and then started laughing. she said my grandmother just visited the day before and that's exactly how she described their new place. their front door was too narrow so they had to hoist the big pieces of furniture through a back entrance.
i finally visited a couple of months later and i got chills everywhere. it was deja vu.

I have dreams that come true to! I've had them ever since i can rember. the only difrence is mine are small insignifant things or conversations. I also have feelings of complete dread or feelings of happiness that come over me. Most of the time, these feelings come right before something bad or good happens. When I was 4 or 5, I was at my friend's house, when a feeling of terror and dread came over me, like i was chokeing on bad feelings. i told my friend that i didnt feel good, but the feeling soon left and we began to play again. An hour or so later, my grandmother came to pick me up and take me to the hospital. My baby brother had been sick with a stomach bug, (he was only a cupple months old at that time). He had choked on his own vomit! Since i was really little, i only agknoldged the fact that he had turned blue and almost died. Using my new knowledge and new expirences, i placed the 2 together.please share your expirences w/ me

Anyone have these dreams???
by: Dawn

I am 35 years old. It all started when i was a little girl i would just have these flashes or glimpse of what was gonna happen like 5 min before. Like a dog running out in front of the car and it happened. Many more. Then it went to dreams. I dreamed about a month before the massive tornadoes went through in 2011. In my dream i was stainding on a hill and looking out above the trees and could see tornadoes everywhere. One dream i had one night was of a brage hitting land and sinking. I waken the next morning to see on the news it had happened somewhere. I dreamed just last night of my ex bf and found out today his father had passed away today. I also dreamed of my ex husband under water trying to get to the top for air and just turn blood red and burst. Called him the next day to find out he was going in the hospital for a arteriagram. I also dreamed of one of my ex bf girfriend packing all her things and leaving him after being together for years. Came to find out i called him and he told me she left two weeks ago. So many more of dreams that seam to have some kind of connection. Its just weird and hard to figure them out and what they mean...

I have had many dreams that come true and they seem to come to me in different ways. only a few wait as long as years to come true, most come true the next day. most of these dreams are in black and white and seem like some one (a higher form of myself) is instructing me to look and take mental notes of the facts. Sometimes they are of seemingly unimportant events. Most recently I heard a conversation that my daughter was having at school with her friends. I was able to tell her about it and I described th tattoos of the person involved. LOL needless to say I give her the creeps.

Now I see there are so many other people just like me I guess I've allways known that but you can't really talk about it or people will think your nuts. However I do wish I could get help reading these dreams accuratly. I'm very sad because I believe I could have prevented my daughter's friend from a fatal accident. There was so much info being shown to me in a dream but I read it wrong and warned the wrong person and now that 19yr old boy is dead. I saw all of their legs as they walked on into the dark but he remained behind because they couldn't find him. They had been hanging out in the park after 11:pm getting wasted when he walked off ahead of them. He was pulled from the the water about 44 hours latr. I hope he realy couldn't see his friends walking away.

I had a very similar dream like yours. a few years ago, around the time I was 13, I had a dream of looking at some kind of glass and seeing the reflection of a Hawaii vacation brochure. It was followed by a few images of me and my siblings on the couch being told about it then just a knowing feeling that we ended up not going. I woke up with a feeling of disappointment that stayed with me the whole day. I didn't understand because I thought the dream didn't mean anything. About two months later I was riding home from school and noticed the reflection of a Hawaii brochure in the windshield. I immediately recalled the dream. when I got home I told my sister and brother about the dream. At the time no one believed me because we had come into a decent amount of money and it looked like a done deal. but in the end, the trip was canceled and we never went. I asked my siblings if they remembered that Id told them this would happen but they said they didn't ever remember me telling them. Wasn't very significant but made a major impact on the way I view dreams.

Shared experience
by: Carmen

Like Inga, I also have dreams before they happen. For example, I dreamed of a situation where I was surrounded by trees and bushes, and I was surrounded by very angry and aggressive people. I woke up feeling very upset. About two years later, I took a job where I often worked in plant nurseries doing inspections. The group I worked with was very aggressive, and often sexually harassed me. One day, I was at the very same nursery that I had seen in my dream with the same people I had seen in my dream. They were harassing me, and were even standing in the same location as where I had seen them standing in my dream.

I have had many such dreams, and would be interested to hear about other's experiences with this type of psychic ability.

Dream that came true
by: Anonymous

I had a dream that I woke up from disoriented because it felt very real. In the dream I thought I was in Vancouver because we had been there before, and I had walked out of a store and sat on a picnic table outside a store facing a parking lot and tall trees not far in the distance. It was cool and windy I noticed a bright colored apartment building with graffitti on it that was written in black . I wanted to tell my partner that I saw the sign because he thought it would be funny but I couldn't find him. I felt lost and woke up feeling very disoriented and uncomfortable. I know I had this dream and it was not dejavu.

recently I find myself sitting in front of Whole Foods supermarket at the end of Height Street in San Francisco facing Golden Gate Park. It was cool and windy with intermittent sun and clouds I noticed on my right a canary yellow condo complex and on the side of the building on the top floor closest to the front of the building in black it said "whole paycheck".

I lost my partner a year and five months ago. I don't know how to describe how this experience felt except for being struck with a wave of realization and familiarity, an aha moment, a shock. Since my partner's passing I have been very sad but this experience also gives me hope that he is near me and we actually shared that moment. It gave me a sense that this tragedy is part of a plan, a path. I'm not religious but I always believed in a higher power. I hope all the pain and anguish I continue to go through means something.

Thank you guys!
by: Author of the Post

Well, what do you know. Here I am sitting years later after I wrote this and stumble upon my old Dream Post and was SO pleasantly surprised how many of you replied with the same or similar stories! I also believe that we all are capable of having these dreams, but that there are only very few people who are sensitive enough to actually connect them. I, myself have these dreams in a almost episope like manner. Sometimes there are years that would go by before I will have another dream that unfolds to be "one of those".

I do have a question for you guys though. As far as religion and science go, how have these events changed your personal beliefs?

I am a very scientific person myself and believe in facts, religion has never been my thing. However, these dreams made me realize that there is absolutely no way of explaining scientificly how a person could foretell the future to the smallest detail by dreams (or any other means). There just is NO WAY of sxplaining that. It almost feels sometimes to me that the life we have chosen has already been planed out to every single detail...which is why we can get sometimes glimpses of it even though it has not happened. I wonder though...what do you guys think???

How have those dreams effected your Spritual beliefs?

I have been having these type of dreams for many years. Only now they have been more pronounced.

My dream is seeing a book but it seemed like a internet article. There is spelled in gothic letters heidelb.org and a blue cloud near the top. Someone was standing over my shoulder, saying pay attention. Then pushed my shoulder. I awoke then I got on the internet, and for some reason I typed in heidelberg(the correct spelling) heidelberg-kerlinfarm.org. up came the article only things were underlined in blieu the spelling in the dream. I hit the key history, the computor froze. The next day I had the dream again, this time only blieu was spelled, again the hand pushed me so hard I awoke. I went to this 300 year old house and looked for the clues. The house is haunted.

Born Asleep Plaque
by: Thomas

I have dream like yours, but also I get dreams where I just see like how can I describe it, clips of events and I will remember them. My dreams are never nice dreams though they are always bad, about people who I love. Like one of my latest dreams I had, my cousin was pregnant. She had 3 weeks until due day. I had a dream that was clips again. I saw a baby I thought was asleep then I saw a coffin, and a silver plaque saying born asleep and I saw the date 16/nov/2009. Then I woke up. I always tell my Grandma about all my dreams and experiences because she understands better, so I told her that day. A week later my cousin lost her baby and then another week later on 16/nov/2009 I went to the baby?s funeral and there was the same coffin and the plaque on it saying born asleep.

I've had this happen to me for the last 2 years. But mine usually come true the same week or month that I dream them. And some of them are unnerving. Like I had one about a car accident, and then I had the same car accident action for action. It was very concerning and was the first time it happened.

However since then I've been having it happen often. One thing that might help you is what I started doing. I began to keep a dream journal and now write down my dreams every morning down to the last detail.

Occasionally I see a clock in the dream so that I know what time something happens, or maybe even the date. And know if something bad is going to happen that day or that time. But I always look at them once they come true just to remind myself that I'm not making it up.

I can't believe this. I've spent most of my life having dreams that come true! After the dream sometimes I can't remember them but before they happen I remember them and have this bad feeling leading up to the situation. I've always felt alone because it's not something u just tell people. My best friend is the only person who knows about my dreams and thankfully she doesn't think I'm crazy or weird. It's just so nice to know I'm not alone and that I'm not crazy. I never considered myself psychic because i don't have visions when I'm awake only at night. Again thanks for sharing this it in a sense makes me feel so much better.

Or if I do I'll only remember something said or a single image or even a action preformed. I really would remember until it happens.

In the past I've had dreams that come true. Never thought much about it, about 3-4 years ago I had four dreams that really stood out. Two months ago two of them have came true in order. The 4th has yet!

I'm looking for someone who studies these dreams who can help me or direct me to someone who could help me to understand what the 4th dreams is telling me.

I also have "psychic" dreams. I mostly only dream when someone is going to pass away and it is usually within a week or so that they do. I have always been able to "see ghost and hear noise" but the dreams always bothers me. I can't really find any info on it though. I have that sense that "oh I've done that before" feeling a lot as well. My mothers family seems to be where this came from. 2 of my children are very sensitive as well. I wish you well.

Psychic dreams

I've had them since I was at least 15. Most recently, my daughter went out one Saturday before I woke up & didn't get back until late. I had been napping on the couch & she woke me when she came in. "How was your day?" I asked, still half asleep. She started telling me & I said, "you told me this already,& proceeded to tell her the rest of the events of her day. She said "I haven't talked to you all day! I just got here!" But it happened exactly how I'd seen it.

Last Xmas my ex got some rare vacation time off & decided to go camping. Two nights before he left, I dreamed he & I went camping & were attacked by tigers. When he dropped off Xmas money for our kid, I told him. Within the next week there were TV reports of two tiger attacks on people at 2 separate zoos. He'd gone to his sister's as it was too cold & saw it on TV. He called & said "You were always doing that!"

I experience dreams about people that happen within a day or two later very often. My dreams don't usually occur exactly the same way but I know that something will happen to the person that is related to the theme of the dream. This is not unusual for me. My mother and my brother both experience the same thing. I don't necessarily believe that I am psychic. I believe that all people are capable of experiencing these dreams. We just need to have an open mind about the possibility that we all have an internal instinct that can help us to feel what is going to happen in the future.

Dreams Come True
by: Anonymous

I've had dreams where I would be in a certain situation, somewhere, sometime, and years later it would come true. When a dream does come true, I get first a feeling of deja vu, then as events unfold, I would say to myself, "oh yeah, I remember this". For instance, I once dreamed of a classroom setting. I walked down the aisle between the students desks, glanced down at a notebook which was open to first page. The page was blank, except for the upper right hand corner where the name, date, and class subject was written. The name was mine, the date several years away, and the class subject unfamiliar. Fast forward to 7th grade, 1979, it happened-just like the dream. nothing more, nothing less. almost like a snapshot of a moment in my life. Yet, this has happened thruout my life, though not often- maybe once every couple of years. It happened just the other day at work. I started a new job 6 months ago, but I remembered the the dream from several years ago of talking to a stranger who was now my coworker. weird, huh?

The female who has dreams
by: Ladyofwisdom/Desire'

Hi, thanks for your feedback! It looks like you are very good at interpreting dreams. Some people are very gifted and very accurate with lucid dreaming, premonitions and interpreting dreams. In the bible times, it was a lot of prophets who were dream interpreters, everything they did. They dreamed about it. Keep praying and focusing on your dreams, that's definitely your calling and a very good gift to have! Remember most dreams are very significant no mattrer how weird or small. The weird dreams be the main dreams that your self conscious is using to really get in touch with you and since you're not listening, it gives you a weird dream to get your attention! It usually works!
