Psychic Rap

I recently made a rap album, and in it I made references to psychic abilities about 4-6 times. I heard somewhere that it is not proper to do so. Is it improper to flaunt your powers, and talk about it to people who are unaware/do not believe in psychic powers?

And if I do so, do I lose my psychic powers? Also how do you lose your powers? and how do you gain them back? Sorry to ask here, but I have no one else I can ask.

Someone please respond and help me out with your piece of mind.
