Unsure Indigo

I'm 13 years old, I want to say I can see spirits, but not like most people who can. It's not like I can tell what type of clothing they're wearing or see what color hair they have, it's always a blur and a feeling that they're there, so I guess I sense them.

Being an empath, I can see auras if I try hard enough, but I developed that thanks to the internet, I wasn't born with it. I don't think those could be called abilities though, as most people are like that.

I feel stronger when I'm alone, and weak when lots of people are around, so school is pretty difficult, even with friends. I've NEVER come in contact with a psychic, and I hope one day I will so I can find some answers - which is what I'm always looking for. I have to know every answer to all my questions or it bothers me until I find out, and that's a problem for me right now. I'm very unsure if I'm an Indigo or not, but if I'm not, then it's back to searching with one topic down haha....

I'm very musical and artistic, I can sit down at the piano and write a song (usually only at night, but I'll get to that in a minute) in about 10 minutes, but I can't read music real well. When the sun goes down, I stay up, obviously a night person. I have a connection with nature, it's hard to explain. I enjoy walking in the woods but if there are people around I feel uneasy because people find me strange for that.

I also have a connection with animals, I love cats, but I feel closer to bats, like I'm family I guess. Ummmm....I don't dream a lot, when I do it's usually something that I remember, and have this odd feeling, and there's usually a bat involved in it.

So anyway, that's me, sorry for it being kinda long. Could someone explain to me what I could be?

I feel the same here! I'm actually typing this at night because my mind is always on go go go! at nighttime. Theres a creek by my house that some times I just go to be there. It almost seems that nature is apart of me. All types of animals connect with me. Even dogs who always bite people never bite me! I'm not sure if I'm an indigo but I'm definatlly more sensitive to things than most people!

When I was very young, I used to see all kinds of spirits/entities. As a child, it freaked me out so much, that I "asked" not to see them, but I could still feel them. Now, I can see and feel them.
Occasionally, they were in full clothing, but mostly blurs/shadows as you described. Definitely, a strong sense of them being there.

As a child and even now, I feel much strong when I am alone...unless, I am around people that are similar.

I think...the reason for that is...we are so sensitive and pick up EVERYTHING...that it just drains us. They say people and spirits can drain people like us and they are not even aware they are draining energy from our light.

You will find other people like you. Start with a search engine for a Unity Church...not really dogmatic religion...jut more spiritual. You can always start there.

I think...that it's great you are musical and artistic. And, when you say...that you are a night person...I can truly relate to that. I have to wake up for work, but I truly don't "wake up" in my mind until around 3 in the afternoon. That is when I become creative.

Also, as a child and even now...one of the things, that "saves" me is to walk in the woods or be around nature. Without that...I feel shriveled up. I have a real connection with birds, animals, trees, turtles, etc. you name it. I also...like to walk..when I am alone in that environment.
(I had a bat, that use to come to sleep on my balcony...AT NIGHT!...which is strange as they are usually sleeping during the day) I always felt if was protecting me.

Our connection with nature is because nature is truly spiritual. And, that is how we get our energy. For once, it's not being extracted from us, but replenishing us.

I have a book called ANIMAL SPEAK The spiritual & magical powers of Creatures Great & Small by, Ted Andrews. Try to find it. In the book, it is written...the Bat sybomlizes Transition and Initiation...it's cycle of power...Nighttime. There is alot of information, but to sum it up....it says..those with a bat totem will find that they have increasing ability to find hidden messages and implications of other's words. And, to trust your instincts.

When I was younger my mom brought me to this psychic who can read bodies and energy. My mom wanted to see if I had ADHD or ADD something like that. It was only because the school said I was showing signs of having ADD or ADHD. The woman was my mom?s friend by the way, so there was no money involved, so I don?t think she was a fake.

Well anyways, she held my hand and closed her eyes for what seemed days. (she had really good energy by the way). Then she opened her eyes and smiled at me, got up went to go talk to my mom and they told me I was an indigo. But I don?t know if its true or not.

My Indigo friend who I believe is an angel has told me she believes I am indigo as well. I'm always searching for answers, so naturally this idea appealed to me. I'd like some sort of relief, some easy answer or solution, as to why I am the way I am.

I want a purpose. I'm looking all over now. I'm very curious but I'm starting to see that, just like everything else in life, there is no easy answer to this. I suppose I'll give this about 15 more minutes of thought and then just forget about it.
