Precognitive Thoughts

One day, several years ago, 14 to be exact, I was taking my 9 year old daughter to her cheerleading practice. It was at a high school on a hill. As I was driving up the hill, a thought came to my mind. I began thinking about what I would do if while I was driving a child came out into the street. My first thought was that I would stop the car, put the child in it and go to the police station. Then I quickly changed that idea and decided that someone might think I was abducting the child so instead I would honk the horn, hoping the parents would see the child in the street and come get him/her. I quickly dismissed these thoughts. They were very peculiar and seemed to come out of nowhere. I proceeded to the high school football field, stayed about half an hour watching the cheerleading squad and headed back down the hill toward home (practice would be long). As I was going down the hill, just before the stop sign, I slowed down, seeing a very small child coming into the street. When I came to a complete stop, he literally put his hands on my car. I honked the horn, got out of my car, took the child by his hand and heard his mother yell, "son of a b_ _ _ _!". She ran out of her house and took her child. I don't understand why any of this happened but it did.
Sometimes I get a gut feeling that isn't right and I know something will go wrong, and it does.
Not often but sometimes I have dreams in which something happens, then later, usually within a week, it does happen but there's always a twist. For example, years ago I dreamt my cat was hit by a car and came dragging by only its front paws home (back end apparently injured). My cat ended up getting hit by a car within just a couple of days and died. A little more recently I dreamt that someone had choked on an apple and died. I later found out my nephew choked on an apple but he was okay. So I feel relieved because if I dream someone is going to die, I'm almost assured that's not going to happen. My dreams partially come true but not completely. My husband doesn't like me telling him my dreams.
