Precognitive Thoughts

by Aurea

One day, several years ago, 14 to be exact, I was taking my 9 year old daughter to her cheerleading practice. It was at a high school on a hill. As I was driving up the hill, a thought came to my mind. I began thinking about what I would do if while I was driving a child came out into the street. My first thought was that I would stop the car, put the child in it and go to the police station. Then I quickly changed that idea and decided that someone might think I was abducting the child so instead I would honk the horn, hoping the parents would see the child in the street and come get him/her. I quickly dismissed these thoughts. They were very peculiar and seemed to come out of nowhere. I proceeded to the high school football field, stayed about half an hour watching the cheerleading squad and headed back down the hill toward home (practice would be long). As I was going down the hill, just before the stop sign, I slowed down, seeing a very small child coming into the street. When I came to a complete stop, he literally put his hands on my car. I honked the horn, got out of my car, took the child by his hand and heard his mother yell, "son of a b_ _ _ _!". She ran out of her house and took her child. I don't understand why any of this happened but it did.

Sometimes I get a gut feeling that isn't right and I know something will go wrong, and it does.

Not often but sometimes I have dreams in which something happens, then later, usually within a week, it does happen but there's always a twist. For example, years ago I dreamt my cat was hit by a car and came dragging by only its front paws home (back end apparently injured). My cat ended up getting hit by a car within just a couple of days and died. A little more recently I dreamt that someone had choked on an apple and died. I later found out my nephew choked on an apple but he was okay. So I feel relieved because if I dream someone is going to die, I'm almost assured that's not going to happen. My dreams partially come true but not completely. My husband doesn't like me telling him my dreams.

Hey Aurea, my thoughts are like yours. I would have a random thought pop up into my mind, and it would happen within a day or a week but with a twist and it 90% takes place in my state, Florida..

One of the more dangerous thoughts was when I was walking home from school, I thought "what if there was a drive-by shooting while I was walking home?" The next day about 3 hours after I came home from school, on the street near my house, you could hear multiple gunshots and police sirens chasing after the shooter. I was extremely happy that I wasn't out on that street walking like I thought I would've been, however, sadden by the police report that the drive-by shooter actually shot someone to death before entering his vehicle (Florida).

Another one would be when about 49 people in a gay bar was killed in Florida, but this one I knew was going to happen because of unexplainable crying at night. When I cry at night without any reasonable cause, someone or a mass of people die within the next day. The night before this, I cried for a long time without having any emotional distress. I know the crying part makes me sound crazy and makes the story sound unbelievable, but it's like a gut feeling for me that is never wrong. I just don't know where or who this going to die, and it's usually the death of a stranger(s).

Also, sometimes I have deja vu and relive a whole day or a unimportant conversation. But that's not extremely important to me. I would like to know if anyone else experiences the crying like I do, and how to cope with it. It's a nice heads up, but destroys me mentally after someone does die.

Too many times to dismiss

My grandmother had prophetic dreams. She said that Franklin Roosevelt came to her, pleading for her help to find his lost child before he died. Second, she dreamt of "Ava Maria" being played in a funeral procession, just days before John F. Kennedy was assassinated. I've had a mix of prophetic dreams. Don't know what this dream meant, but my teammate had recently passed away. I dreamt that I was missing a shoe. She was blow drying her hair, and I asked her if she knew where my shoe was. "I don't know", she replied. I woke up, not remembering a thing, until I looked under the bed for my shoes. One was missing! It took a long time to find it. Months prior to this, this same teammate was standing with the backdrop of the sun, laughing, talking about the crazy night of fun she had with another teammate. A sudden thought invaded my brain. "She's beautiful, too bad she's gonna die". Weeks later, another teammate was sitting in front of me in study hall. All I could see was the back of her golden hair. A sudden though invaded me once again. "Her hair is so beautiful, too bad she's gonna die". Months later, I went home for Thanksgiving vacation. Oddly, I received a phone from my coach, thinking she was wishing me a happy holiday. Instead, she broke the news to me, "^&%$ and $%^ both died in a car crash last night". It wasn't until weeks later that I remembered that these were the two teammates that my brain declared a seemingly imminent death. It steal freaks me out today. I'd like to believe that it's just mad instinct, because it's explainable. Also, I predicted a large earthquake that occurred in Northern California, the morning of. While sitting at breakfast in a city, 1 hour away, I said to my Aunt, "Something doesn't feel right. Something bad is going to happen. This is earthquake weather." In the wee hours of the next day, my parents were violently thrown from their beds, with the sound of what they thought to be a "freight train" going through their living room. Sometimes I wonder, if the subconscious of some us takes in more information than others. We notice subtle change, the addition and subtraction of something in the environment. We don't know what it is, but just know that something is different, and wether that addition or subtraction will cause harm or good.

Me too
by: Ryan R.

This happens to me all the time and I'm trying to figure out why I have it and what I'm supposed to use it for. Mine started when I had a paranormal experience 3 years ago when a spirit went through me while I was lying on the floor, asleep, and woken by it standing behind me. Woke up again, but this time middle of the day the nexy day and downstairs. No idea how I got there. It was a painful expereince when it went through me, but when i woke up I felt different and started having precognitive thoughts. I could even predict in a drive thru what type and color car will come up behind me and the one behind them and the on behind them. But I have noticed that I have to be in a specific state of mind that I can physically feel in my head in order to do things like this. I'm looking for answers too. If you have any please let me know.
