Flying Hovering Dreams

Often times in the past, when I was in a horrible marriage, I would dream that I was hovering... flying in a circle just above people that were trying to get me. I would be just out of reach of the people... maybe a foot above them. They were close, but could not get me.

I had this dream many times over. I am no longer in that marriage... thank the stars... and the dreams have subsided.

During that particular marriage, I also had many dreams of beating my in-laws.... I no longer have those dreams.

The part of the dream that gets me is the flying/hovering part....just out of reach.

Does flying represent anything specific?
